Carmen García de Mora

  • Designer and instructor specializing in knitwear, Industrial Design engineer, and holder of a Master’s Degree in Industrial Knitwear Design from IED Madrid.
    For 20 years, she worked as a designer for Lanas Katia and taught at ESDI in Sabadell.
    Today, she leads her own brand, creating courses, patterns, and projects that blend creativity, technique, and textile storytelling.
    She describes herself as a passionate knitter who designs stories through shapes, stitches, and details—revealing the endless potential of knitwear

About the Workshop

80 hours of training

  • The learning process is based on practical exercises and technical demonstrations designed to provide a solid framework for designing, constructing, and presenting circular knit fabrics and patterns leading to a final representation of the garment or object.

  • Participants will develop swatches, stitch libraries or technical dossiers, and a finished garment to apply the skills acquired.

  • Maximum of 12 students per workshop

  • Prerequisite: Foundational knowledge of needle-based knitwear
