Program Overview

  • 96 hours of training: 72 hours of in‑person classes and 24 hours of independent work, giving students the opportunity to address questions and reinforce their learning throughout the training period.

  • Learning is based on hands‑on exercises and technical demonstrations aimed at mastering the development of geometric patterns inspired by the Japanese sashiko technique. Students will learn how to design, customize, and embroider garments.

  • The program explores area selection, sizing, and the relationship between basic and decorative stitches.

  • Students will develop a stitch sampler that can be replicated on different garments and accessories.
